Recently we heard the terrible news that Nicci DeSoto from Falling To Pieces (who headlined our first show in Livermore) recently passed away in a motorcycle accident. Recently we heard the terrible news that Nicci DeSoto from Falling To Pieces (who headlined our first show in Livermore) recently passed away in a motorcycle accident. Everyone in the Bay Area metal scene is shell-shocked by the news, and even though we in Severed Fifth didn’t know her that well, it was awesome to play at least one show with her.
To help with Nicci’s burial costs, a benefit show has been put together on Friday 12th Nov 2010 at Pine Street Bar and Grill in Livermore (the same venue where we played our first show with Falling To Pieces. The show will feature The Venting Machine, Severed Fifth, Left Of Christ, and Dissipate. Doors open at 8pm. Be there to show your support for Nicci and help her family.

With our first show under our belt, our philosophy is simple: Severed Fifth fans have paid good money for a great show, and will deliver every ounce of energy we have into the best show we can at every venue. If you haven’t seen Severed Fifth live yet, be sure to get along and get ready to bang your head.

I am delighted to be able to announce that we have just confirmed the very first Severed Fifth show on the 1st October 2010 at 8pm at Pine Street Sports Bar in Livermore, California. We will be opening up the night and playing with One Less Enemy, Something Left Unsaid, Falling to Pieces, and Numic. [...]
I am delighted to be able to announce that we have just confirmed the very first Severed Fifth show on the 1st October 2010 at 8pm at Pine Street Sports Bar in Livermore, California. We will be opening up the night and playing with One Less Enemy, Something Left Unsaid, Falling to Pieces, and Numic. Right now we have been focusing on getting opening slots so we can ease ourselves into the live scene, so we are delighted to be part of this show, but as we are opening be sure to get there by 8pm. 
With this being our first live show I have created a new Live shows section on the website where you can find the latest details about Severed Fifth live shows as we get out and about on the road. There is also a live shows RSS feed you can subscribe to to keep up to date.
Look forward to seeing you folks at the show in Livermore on the 1st October!
